Rayleen C. Lehrman's Obituary
Rayleen "Rae" Lehrman passed away at the age of 82 surrounded by the love of her family on Thursday, May 7. Born in Pittsburgh and raised in Mount Oliver, Rae was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose warmth, humor, and steady presence touched everyone around her.
Rae shared 65 loving years of marriage with her husband, Raymond Lehrman. She was dependable, caring, quick-witted, and always ready to help others. She loved caring for her family and enjoyed crocheting and sewing, even handmaking her daughter's wedding dress - one of the many ways she lovingly cared for those around her.
She is survived by her beloved husband Raymond; her children Robin and Regis (Christine); her grandchildren Daniel (Melony), Allison (Justin), Madeline (Cody), Nathan, Raymond, and Amy; her great-grandchildren Jack, Brett, and Claire; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Loretta Leech.
Rae's love and presence will be deeply missed and forever cherished. We will always remember to "be sweet." Love you forever.
A funeral service will be held on Monday May 11, 2026 at 10:00 AM in the Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home Chapel, 301 Curry Hollow Rd. Pittsburgh PA 15236.
