Rana Tewari's Obituary
Rana Tewari, age 74, of Trenton, NJ, passed away on Friday, March 1, 2024, surrounded by the love of his family. Rana was born on October 10, 1949, in India, the son of the late Pandit Vishwa Mitter and Padma Vati Tewari.
Rana immigrated to the United States with the support of his loving partner, Neelam, in order to give his family the most opportunities. Rana received his Master’s in Science and was a self-made businessman who saw many successes in his career through banking and real estate.
Rana was proud of his Indian heritage. He enjoyed old Hindi songs and Indian cultural shows. He was a simple man and was passionate about good food, intellectual conversations, and loved spending time with his family, friends and neighbors.
Rana was a beloved member of his community. He was a peace-loving person, who always gave others the benefit of the doubt and wanted everyone around him to be happy. He was a true gentleman, always well dressed, and lived life his way. He was kind and everyone who met him felt true respect and love for him. He was truly proud of his children and cherished the time he spent with his family.
Rana was the beloved husband to Neelam Tewari; loving father of Priyanka Tewari (James Reinhard) and Gaurav Tewari (Meena); and the brother of Vineet Tewari (Babli) and uncle to Masuma Tewari.
A Hindu service will be held on Sunday, March 3rd starting at 8:30AM- 12PM, followed by cremation at the Jefferson Memorial Mausoleum, 401 Curry Hollow Road, Pleasant Hills, PA, 15236.
