Age 89 of Bethel Park, formerly of the Southside, passed away on Thursday, January 14, 2016. Beloved husband of 56 years to Carol Jean (Mente) Froehlich; loving father of Bernard Froehlich and Mary Ann (Daniel) Morrone; grandfather of Randall C. (Linda Orr) Morrone and Angela (Daniel) Reardon; great grandfather of Autumn Ann Reardon; son of the late Anton and Hilda Froehlich; brother of the late Charles Froehlich and Marie (Dan) Santoro; brother-in-law of Marian Froehlich. Ralph was a paratrooper in WWII. He volunteered for the St. Paul of the Cross Monastery Food Bank. Visitation will be held Sunday from 1-8 PM at the Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home, Inc., 301 Curry Hollow Road, Pleasant HIlls. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday at 11 AM in St. Germaine Church. Interment in Queen of Heaven Cemetery. The family will graciously accept floral donations or you may choose to make donations to Family Hospice and Palliative Care, 50 Moffett Street, Pittsburgh PA 15243.
