88, of Brentwood, passed away on October 14, 2016. Pauline was preceded in death by her beloved husband, John "Top Dollar Johnny" Levitske, formerly of Levitske Motors and Levitske Brothers Commercial Real Estate.
Polly is survived by her children, John Levitske, Jr., Spouse Victoria; Nancy McGartland, Spouse Anthony; James Levitske, Debra Walker; grandchildren, Margaux McGartland, Aaron McGartland, Cassandra Levitske, Jonathan Levitske, Krystal Levitske, Dillon Walker, and great grandson Bram McGartland. Polly fell in love with Big John the first time she saw him at the Kennywood Park Dance Hall July 27, 1947. She was the "Pretty Polly" in the famous polka song recorded by Frankie Yankovic and His Yanks. Polly was also a proud member of the South Hills Presidents League,President; The Brentwood Founders Club; Moore School Parent-Teacher Association, President; the Brentwood-Whitehall Chamber of Commerce, Girl Scout Leader, South Park Speedway Trophy Girl, as well as a Bell Telephone Operator. In her free time she enjoyed spending time with her family and traveling.
Family and friends will be received on Wednesday from 2-4 & 6-8 PM at the Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home, 301 Curry Hollow Rd., Pleasant Hills, 15236. A Funeral Ceremony will be conducted Thursday at 11:00 am at Holy Trinity Serbian Orthodox Cathedral, 450 Maxwell Drive, Pittsburgh, 15236. Condolences may be left at www.jeffersonmemorial.biz.
