Placid was the most wonderful next door neighbor we could have ever asked for, but truly he was more of a grandfather figure to us. There was never a day in which he didn't give us advice, share words of wisdom, keep us informed or even just remind us to appreciate this beautiful life and our time with each other. His laugh was contagious. Five years of living next door will never be enough but we are so grateful for the time we had.
