Peter Kolesar's Obituary
Kolesar, Peter Age 91, of South Park Township since 1955, passed away on August 30, 2016 at Broadmore Senior Living, Bridgeville. He was born on April 7, 1925 to the late William and Mary (Dzura) Kolesar. Beloved husband of 65 years to Dorothy Kolesar; loving father of Carol (Bob) Druga of Moon Township and Pete (Carol) Kolesar of Bethel Park; grandfather of Rob (Kayla) Druga of McDonald and Brian Druga of Tampa, FL; great-grandfather of Emma and Lincoln Druga; brother of William (Arlene) Kolesar, and the late Michael, John, Edward, George and Julia Kolesar, Ann Milan, Mary Langol, Emma Zahorchak, Helen Joseph and Pauline Saarela. He was a graduate of the Bricklayer and Allied Craftsmen of Pennsylvania Local 9 Training School and retired in 1987 after 36 years of service as a bricklayer mason. He proudly served in the U.S. Navy during World War II, enjoyed gardening and was an avid Steeler, Pirate and Penguins fan. Family and friends will be received on Wednesday from 4-8 PM at the Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home, 301 Curry Hollow Road Pittsburgh PA 15236. A Funeral Ceremony will take place on Thursday at 10 AM at St. Pius X Byzantine Catholic Church in Carrick. Interment is private. The family would like to thank the staff of Broadmore Senior Living and Bridges Hospice for the care and compassion that they extended during the past year.
