Age 96, of Bethel Park, formerly of Whitehall, passed away peacefully in his sleep on July 27, 2018. Loving husband of 76 years to Alma B Roth; Father of Linda (Bill) Mohler, Paul W. (Phyllis) Roth Jr., Joseph A. (Carole) Roth, John E. (Nancy) Roth; Father-in-law of Barbara Roth; Grandfather of Lori Mohler, Amy (Dave) Lauerhass, Stephanie (Jason) Brazen, Brian (Karen) Roth, Michael (Lizzie) Roth, Jennifer (Colin) Hargraves, Nathan Roth, and Alaina Roth; Great Grandfather of Liam ,Triston, Brenna, Ronan, Rebecca, Christopher, Brett, Audrey, Hazel, Violet, and Elowyn; Brother of Edward Roth, John H. Roths, and Martha Ake; Son of the late August and Christina Roth.
Paul was a Navy Veteran in World War II and served as yeoman 3/C. He was the owner of Roth Cash Register for 66 years, a member of Hamilton Presbyterian Church (Charter Member), Wildcat Rod and Gun Club for decades, a Hall of Fame member of the Retail Solutions Provider Association (ICRDA, Charter member). Paul was an avid hunter, fisherman, world traveler (132 countries and 120 cruises), outdoorsman, and avid sports fan of the Steelers and Pirates.
Visitation will be held on Sunday and Monday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home, Pleasant Hills. A Funeral Ceremony will take place on Tuesday at 11:30 AM in the funeral home chapel. Interment at Jefferson Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hamilton Presbyterian Church, Bethel Park PA 15102.
