Paul E. Timmerman's Obituary
On May 26, 2017, in his 95th year, Paul E Timmerman, of Pittsburgh, PA, husband of the late Doris Hodder Timmerman, father of Robert (Jan), Susan Duffy (Bill) of Milford Ohio, Sandra Stewart (Jeff) of St Louis Missouri, grandfather of Amanda Duffy, Paul Stewart (Katie), Courtney Wallingford (Eric) and Megan Duffy; great grandfather of Landon Duffy; brother of Doris de Graff of St Petersburg Florida; uncle of Nancy Krovisky (Frank), Dick de Graff (Victoria), Joseph de Graff and Kathy Fager (Ray Joe). Mr. Timmerman was born in Watertown NY, grew up in Edgewood PA, and later lived in Bethel Park and Jefferson Hills. He served in the US Navy in WWII. He graduated from Carnegie Institute of Technology and worked as a mechanical engineer (diesel) for Bacharach Industrial Instrument Company, American Bosch, and retired from Malsbary Manufacturing Company. He was a member of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers and a member of The American Legion Post 712.
Family and friends are welcome for visitation on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home, 301 Curry Hollow Road, Pittsburgh 15236. A blessing service will be held in the funeral home's chapel on Wednesday at 10 a.m. Interment to follow in Jefferson Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be sent to The American Legion.
