Paul V. Schmidt's Obituary
Age 78, of Pittsburgh, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Wednesday, August 7, 2019.
Paul is survived by his beloved Wife of 56 years, Linda (Rockot) Schmidt. Beloved Father of Gary Schmidt, Stacey (DJ) Czerniejewski, and Scott (Veronika) Schmidt. Adored Poppa of Tabitha, Adam, Ryan, Sierra, Kaitlyn, and Jason. Loving Brother of Jane (the late Clifton) Hall; as well as a large extended family and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his Parents, Vincent and Elsie Schmidt.
Paul proudly served his country in the United States Army. He was an active elder at First Presbyterian Church of Castle Shannon for over 40 years. His faith touched the lives of everyone he met. Paul enjoyed spending time surrounded by his loving family and will be dearly missed by all those who loved him.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 11, 2019 from 2 to 8 pm at the Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home, Inc., 301 Curry Hollow Road, Pleasant Hills. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Monday, August 12, 2019 at First Presbyterian Church of Castle Shannon, 3636 Poplar Avenue, Pittsburgh 15234. Visitation will be at the church from 11 to 11:30 am with a Service beginning at 11:30 am.
