I remember Mr. Orefice’s Sunday school classes at Baldwin United Presbyterian Church. He taught the high school group and he always encouraged participation and open discussion about the topic of the day. I recall at times he would go around the room and ask each student to contribute, pushing us out of our comfort zones. He was a very good teacher and I think I am a better person because of him. I also recall his voice singing in the church choir as well as his trombone playing as part of the church services. Tom - I’m very sorry for your father’s passing and you have my deepest condolences.
Eileen, I would like to offer my deepest sympathy and my prayers for you, Paul and your family. I think I met you one time only. I worked with Paul and his dad in the By-Products Division of Koppers Company. for 3 years. I was just a dumb 17-year old kid right out of high school and Paul was wonderful to work with. I recognized him as soon as I saw his picture. You had a great guy there. Again, I am sorry for your loss. Lois Newman
