Paul J. Malecki's Obituary
Paul J. Malecki, age 78, of Jefferson Hills, passed away on July 6, 2025.
Paul was a dedicated electrician, proudly serving as the head electrician for the Pittsburgh Steelers and Pirates for many years. A member of the IBEW Local 5, Paul's work ethic and dedication were evident in everything he did.
A true Pittsburgh fan, Paul enjoyed spending his free time indulging in his passions for golf, hunting, and gardening. He found peace in cutting his grass and relished the moments spent at the family cabin. A devoted family man, Paul's biggest love was his wife, Diane. Together, they created countless memories through family vacations and cruises, making every moment count.
Paul's greatest joy came from spending time with his grandchildren, supporting them at sporting events, and being the life of every party. He will be remembered for his infectious laughter, warm heart, and unwavering spirit.
Paul is survived by his wife of 55 years Diane Malecki; children Mark (Jackie) Malecki, Kimberly (Daniel) Rehak, and Brian (Kelly) Malecki; grandchildren Adam Malecki, Megan Malecki, Kevin (Elizabeth) Rehak, Kaylee Rehak, Luke Malecki, and Roman Malecki.
Paul is preceded in death by his parents Harry Sr. and Blanche Malecki and his brother Harry Malecki, Jr.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 9, 2025 from 2:00 pm - 8:00 pm at the Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home, 301 Curry Hollow Road, Pittsburgh, 15236. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Thursday, July 10 at 10:00 am at Triumph of the Holy Cross Parish, St. Thomas A'Becket worship site, 139 Gill Hall Road, Clairton, PA 15025. Burial to follow at Jefferson Memorial Park.
