Age 85 of Bethel Park, passed away peacefully in the arms of his loving Wife on Sunday, June 9, 2019. Beloved and devoted husband of 63 years to Helen C. (Brenning) Kirtley. Father of Paul L. (Judy) Kirtley, and the late Jacqueline Frances Kirtley (Wes) Banks. Pap Paps of Brennan Banks, Colton Banks, Nathan Banks, and Dean Kirtley. Great Pap Paps of Karsyn Banks. Preceded in death by his loving daughter Jacqueline; Parents, PJ and Alice Kirtley; and siblings, William J. Kirtley, Ottie Kirtley, Shirley Kirtley Lawson, Myrtle Kirtley Thompson, Nancy Kirtley Danlovich, Cynthia Kirtley, and Glen Ronald Kirtley.
Paul proudly served his country during the Korean War in the United States Navy. He worked many years at Elite Supply. Paul was an avid hunter and fisherman, a master gardener who enjoyed building birdhouses. Some called him a Jack of all trades, he will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 13, 2019 from 2 to 4 pm & 6 to 8 pm and Friday, June 14, 2019 from 6 to 8 pm at the Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home, Inc., 301 Curry Hollow Rd, Pleasant Hills. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, June 15, 2019 at 9:30 am at St. Anne's Parish, 400 Hoodridge Dr, Pittsburgh, PA 15234. Family requests that everyone meet at church.
