Paul M. Dick, Sr.'s Obituary
Paul M. Dick, Sr., age 86, of Pleasant Hills, passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of his family on Wednesday, December 13, 2023.
Paul was born on January 10, 1937, in Pittsburgh, the son of the late Paul and Margaret (Hudak) Dick.
Paul was an avid golfer, discovering his love for the sport at a young age and working as a Caddy throughout high school. He enjoyed spending his summers on the golf course with his friends as well as attending car cruises and the races at Schenley Park. Above all, Paul enjoyed the time spent with his family, especially his grandchildren.
Paul leaves his beloved wife of 63 years, Anne M. (Kelleher) Dick; his children, Paul (Allison) Dick, Jr., Kathleen (Joseph Thomas) Livingston, and Carolyn (David) Petrasun; his grandchildren, Sara, Callum, Shea, Amie, Benjamin Jr., Haley (Robbie), Jonathan and Joseph; and his great grandson, whom he adored, Jaxon Boone. Paul is also survived by his sister, Marjorie Wagner; brother, John Dick; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Paul was predeceased by his daughter, Sarah Dick and sister, Judith Arlow.
Relatives and friends are invited to join the family for visitation from 2-4 and 6-8 pm on Sunday, December 17, 2023 at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home, 301 Curry Hollow Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15236. A service will be held in the chapel at the funeral home at 10:00 am on Monday, December 18, 2023. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions in honor of Paul be made to the Epilepsy Association of Western and Central PA, 1501 Reedsdale Street, Suite 3002, Pittsburgh, PA 15233 or to Autism Speaks, P.O. Box 37148, Boone, IA 50037-0148.
