Patricia Nester's Obituary
Pat Nester-Keglovich, a radiant beacon of love, generosity, and spirited joy, passed away peacefully in Jefferson Hills on July 9, 2023. Born on January 19, 1943, in Pittsburgh, Pat was the embodiment of vivacity and warmth that touched the lives of all who knew her.
Pat was a woman of many passions and interests. Known as a "class clown" in her younger years, her infectious laughter and sense of humor brought joy to everyone around her. She had an unquenchable love for Rock and Roll and the Oldies, often seen dancing with her life-long companion, Charles "Chuck" Keglovich. Pat's love for music extended to her fondness for singing and watching Karaoke. Her early years were also filled with roller-skating adventures and delightful dinner outings.
In her later years, Pat continued to enjoy going out to dinner with her family and socializing at the local bar with friends. She had a special fondness for tending to her flower baskets, a hobby that reflected her nurturing nature and love for beauty.
She also had a special place in her heart for the family's pets. She loved Deuce, Lucy, Hussy, Darcy and Kiki, who all passed before her. She is survived by her grand-dogs, Layla, Olivia, Iris, Georgia, Prudence, and Roxy. Above all, Pat cherished the moments spent with her family. She was a devoted mother, a doting grandmother, and a proud great-grandmother, who was all about her family.
Pat is survived by her life-long companion, Charles "Chuck" Keglovich. She leaves behind a legacy of love through her loving children, Shawna (Kurt) Weisbecker, Darryl Crouch, Brian (Greg Cherico) Crouch, Sonnya (Steve) Trumpe, and Brenda (Robert) Cavill. Her spirit lives on in her beloved grandchildren, Amber, Nathan, Michael, Brittni, Kayla, Breann, Dalton, Brennan, Spencer, and Brianna, and cherished great-grandchildren, Jase, Bailee, Malaina, Hannah, Phoebe, Octavia, Landon and Ava. Pat is also survived by her brother, Art (Carol) Nester, and her niece, Genna (Jeff). She is preceded in death by her loving parents, Frank and Mae Nester.
Pat's life was one of devotion and love. Her generous spirit, coupled with her lively nature, made her a favorite amongst her friends and family. She was a woman who lived her life to the fullest, embracing every moment with enthusiasm and joy. The love she had for her family was immeasurable, and her presence will be deeply missed.
As we remember Pat, we celebrate a life well-lived. A life filled with laughter, music, and love. Her spirit will continue to live on in the hearts and memories of those she left behind. Pat Nester-Keglovich may have left us in body, but her legacy of love, generosity, and spirited joy will forever be a part of us.
