Pat was a truly generous and thoughtful person. When I moved into a new apartment, she not only gave me a housewarming gift, but brought over a large storage cabinet and helped me get it up two flights of stairs. She didn't even seem to break a sweat, meanwhile I was huffing and puffing from it! She was the kind of person who would do anything for anyone who needed a helping hand or a word of encouragement. I am grateful to have known her.
I had the pleasure of working with Pat and then remained good friends after that. She was one of the most generous people I know, always thinking of others. I will miss our days at the casinos and going out to dinner with her. She loved her family and friends unconditionally and was always looking at the bright spots, even when she wasn’t doing well.
