I am deeply saddened over the loss of your mom, Ian and Mark and families!! We were friends for years, teaching CCD together at St Thomas Aquinas in California , Pa. We kept intouch through Facebook always. The parties we planned for our students and all of our dinners we attended were absolutely a delight. Knowing Patrice was an honor. May she RIP, there is a Special place in Heaven for her. Deborah Simyak ❤️
With thoughts of peace, courage, and enduring memories for you and yours,
I first met Patrice at Head Start. We and a few friends would “accidentally” show up for our lunch hour at the same restaurant at least once a week when we could make it.When she iconically and pure Patrice left that position, I did not hear from her.Imagine my delight and surprise when a year or so later, I began a new posit at a school in Maryland, and heard her voice. I was at a Giant in Waldorf and heard her familiar voice calling out to me.We picked up where we had left off.Over the years we would share stories of family and common friends. She read the gospel at my wedding.I would hear about her grandchildren who are close in age my daughter. After she moved home, we would talk about getting to when I visited.Patrice was a wonderful person who deeply loved her family and friends. She will be missed.
Patrice was a kind solely who dedicated to teaching at La Plata High School. One of greatest memories with her was when she joined me and my wife at a local wrestling event. She got to meet one of her favorites Bret Hart. I made a donation to the Dolly Parton Imagination Library in her memory. RIP Patrice.
