Otto Fredrick Kellman's Obituary
Otto Fredrick Kellman passed away on March 16, 2020. He was born on March 19, 1925 to Augusta and Adolph Kellman in Wilmerding PA.
During World War II he served in the Army Air Corps in the Western Pacific Theater (Imo Jima). He graduated from Robert Morris University in 1950 with a bachelors degree in accounting and obtained his CPA in 1951. He started his career at Main & Company CPA firm. He became Vice President of Finance and a member of the Board of Directors at Duquesne Brewing Company. He held a similar position at Taylor Wilson Manufacturing Company in McKees Rocks, PA. from which he retired.
He served on numerous boards and organizations, including the McKees Rocks Rotary and the Pittsburgh chapter of S.C.O.R.E. He served 25 years on the board of Ohio Valley General Hospital including 5 years as its Chairman. He was also a 32 degree Mason and Shriner.
He married the former Jean Wissman in 1960. They were married 54 years until Jean’s death in 2014.
Otto was preceded in death by his wife Jean, his father and mother, his brothers John and Adolph, and his sister June Cross.
He is survived by several nieces and nephews, special friends and helpful neighbors.
