Norma Jean Zupetic's Obituary
Norma Jean (Valiska) Zupetic, age 84, of West Mifflin, passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 8, 2024, in the comfort of her home, surrounded by the love of her family. Norma was born on August 8, 1939, the daughter of the late Robert and Julia Valiska.
Norma was a lifelong resident of West Mifflin where she made her home and raised her family alongside her high school sweetheart and husband, the late John Zupetic, Jr. She will be remembered as a caring and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother.
Norma was the dedicated mother to Darlene (John) Hopkins of Philadelphia, Christine (Tim) Griffin of Mt. Lebanon, and Kenneth Zupetic of West Mifflin, the loving grandmother to Emily Griffin, Sean Griffin, Rian Griffin, and Andrew Hopkins, and the sister-in-law to Joseph Zupetic of Los Angeles. Norma also leaves her granddaughter-in-law, Nicole Hopkins and her great granddaughter, Clara Wren Hopkins.
Norma was preceded in death by her beloved husband, John Zupetic, Jr., her grandson, Andrew Hopkins, and her sister, Roberta Zaletsky.
Services have been entrusted into the care of Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home and will be held privately.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in memory of Norma may be made to the American Cancer Society.
