Brody,
Nicole Lynn
33, of West Homestead, departed this world on Thursday May 3rd, 2018. She was born on September 13, 1984 to Keith and Debra Brody.
With her warm and tender ways, she was loved by all who came into her life.
Nicole earned her bachelor's degree in Business/International Business from Penn State University. Studied abroad in Sydney, Australia, University of New South Wales taking up photography and exploring Fiji, Coogee Beach, and The Great Barrier Reef. She was vice-president of finance for her sorority Gamma Phi Beta. Accepted a position with Macy's in New York City as a buyer in Fragrance. Returned home to help run our family business, Black Rhino Recycling, which continues to thrive due to her strategic thinking skills.
Although Nicole was business oriented, her interests were much more artistic. She loved to draw, paint, write, and create. Her latest passion was learning to play guitar strumming to Jack Johnson, Stevie Nicks and Colbie Caillat. Her love of reading included the classics as well as books about spirituality in its many forms. She had an exceptional way with children volunteering her time tutoring math and English to younger students, painting set designs for the annual West Mifflin High School play as well as teaching swim lessons at the local YMCA. Her vibrant smile and radiant personality will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. She always made an effort to put others first and made anyone feel welcome. Her level of kindness was beautiful. "Do what's right and do what's good. Be kind and help others." This sums up her life.
