Grandfather, Father, Husband, Brother, Son, Friend. Nicky had these honorable titles in a life well lived. I count myself lucky to have been included in this last category. Perhaps the most elegant eulogy is often expressed in few words. “Nicky, you were indeed a good and decent person.” While we now grieve at our personal loss, Nicky, as you look down upon us, keep in mind my friend, that these feelings will soon be replaced by a smile and a warm, heartfelt feeling of joy of having had the good fortune to know you. And so, we honor your life. Our treasured and long-lasting memories are many and varied, too numerous to elaborate here. Your legacy lives on through your family and friends. Rest in peace my friend. We hope to see you on the other side.
Dear Gina, Kristen, and Michelle, I was so shocked and saddened to hear of Nick’s passing. I have fond memories of always playing and hanging out at your house when we were kids.
