Nicholas Fera Jr.'s Obituary
Nicholas Fera, Jr., age 88, a resident of Baldwin Borough, passed away peacefully on August 6th, 2024.
Beloved husband of Eileen (Lis) for 65 years, was the son of the late Nicholas Sr. and Agnes (Kotarba) Fera, Father of the late Nicholas Fera III, Renee Fera (Carl Ganster), Diane (Chuck) Bettilyon, and Lisa Fera. Grandfather of Patrick (Ashley) Oakes, Jessica (Tim) Merolillo, Lindsay (Brad) Ruth, Ashley Bettilyon (Brandon Miller), Matthew Bettilyon, Steven Ganster, Lauren Ganster (Chris Priore). Great Grandfather of six: Bentley and Brody Oakes, Sophia and Amelia Merolillo, Riley and Emily Ruth. Brother of the late Theresa (Joseph) DeFazio, late Marie (Richard) Bailey, Frank and (Yvonne) Fera, Katherine (Sam) Corrado. Also surviving by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Nicholas was an Iron worker of Local 3, he was a musician (singer, accordion player and keyboard player), Member to the Knights of Columbus, Member of the Baldwin Council, past President of the ISDA Lodge 24th of May. He spent a few great years coaching Basketball at Nativity School and was Assistant Coach for Baldwin High School Golf Team. Nicholas was also a very devout Eucharistic Minister of Nativity, Our Lady of Hope Parish.

Friends and family will be received on Friday, August 9th, 2024 from 2-4pm and 6-8pm at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home, Inc., 301 Curry Hollow Road, Pleasant Hills, PA, 15236.
A Blessing Service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Saturday, August 10th, 2024 at 12pm.
Burial will be handled by Jefferson Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Bridge to Home Animal Rescue at https://www.bridgetohome84.org/ or to a charity of your choice.
