Nicholas D. Ali's Obituary
Nicholas D. Ali, age 77, of South Park, passed away on Monday, January 13, 2025, surrounded by the love of family. Nick was born on April 6, 1947, in Pittsburgh, the son of the late Nicholas and Judith (Mancuso) Ali.
Nick made his home for many years in Pleasant Hills alongside his beloved wife of 59 years, Linda L. Ali. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed vacationing with his family. Nick was very sociable and loved enjoying a home cooked meal with family. He had a deep love for his animals and was a dedicated family man. Nick will be deeply missed by all those who loved him.
In addition to his wife, Nick is survived by his two children, Tom Ali and Dana (Matt) Dekman; his grandchildren, Lauren (Brandon) Fink, Shayne (Haylee) Ali, Tommy Ali, Matthew Dekman, and Rachel Dekman; and his great grandchildren, Kinzleigh Ali, Owen Ali, Jett Fink and Cade Fink. Nick was looking forward to the arrival of another great grandson in March. Also surviving is his brother, Richard Ali, many nieces and nephews and close family friend, John Sadlik.
Nick was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Dennis Ali.
Relatives and friends are invited to join the family from 4:00 - 8:00 pm for visitation on Thursday, January 16, 2025, at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home, 301 Curry Hollow Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15236. A service will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, January 17, 2025, in the chapel at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Jefferson Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in honor of Nick may be made to the Washington Area Humane Society, 1527 PA-136, Eighty Four, PA 15330.
