Nello Fiore's Obituary
Nello Fiore, age 89, of Whitehall, PA, passed away peacefully in the comfort of his home on Monday, July 29, 2024, surrounded by the love of family and friends. Nello was born in McKeesport, PA, on August 31, 1934, the son of the late Ralph and Julia Fiore.
Nello is survived by his brother, Allan R. Fiore and his wife, Christine, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was beloved by many extended family members and friends. Nello was predeceased by his loving wife, Patricia Fiore.
Nello proudly served our country in the United States Army. Following his time in the service, he enjoyed a long career of over 25 years at the Allegheny County Airport as manager. Nello's dedication to his community was demonstrated through his 30-year membership with the Masons, where he forged lifelong friendships.
Relatives and friends are invited to join the family for visitation on Friday, August 2, 2024, from 12:00 – 2:00 pm at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home, 301 Curry Hollow Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15236. A blessing service in honor of Nello will be held at 2:00 pm in the chapel at the funeral home. Burial will be held privately.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in honor of Nello may be made to the Wounded Warriors Project, P.O. Box 758516, Topeka, Kansas 66675-8516.
