Myrle Delewski (Sobek)'s Obituary
Myrle Delewski, age 89, of Pittsburgh, passed away on January 2, 2021.
Beloved wife of the late Thomas L Delewski and late Theodore W. Sobek; sister of Dolores (Schoffstall) Wank and of the late John (Junie) Knox; loving mother of Ted (Mary Kay) Sobek and Brian Sobek; Cherished grandmother of Jason T. Sobek, Mandy (Aaron) Tomczak and proud great grandmother to Chet and Tanner; Cherished grandmother to Julie (Scott) and Michael (Lauren) and proud great grandmother of four additional great grandchildren.
Myrle was kind, caring and had a deep love for her family, even in her waning days her face would light up seeing or hearing the voices of her great grandchildren. She always put her family first and was a dedicated wife, mother, sister, and grandmother. Her quick wit and sense of humor will be forever remembered by all.
Services are private and under the care of Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home, Inc., 301 Curry Hollow Rd., Pleasant Hills, 15236. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the American Diabetes Association https://www.diabetes.org/donate under the name Myrle Delewski.
The family welcomes all to join them at Myrle's virtual service at 1:00 pm on Wednesday 6 January 2021 at Holy Trinity Polish National Catholic Church, 201 Grace Street, McKees Rocks, PA. A Celebration of Life for Myrle will be held on May 8, 2021 and the family would like to invite all to attend and share stories of her life and enjoy a meal with all. Location and details to be announced….
