Myesha Shareese McGriff's Obituary
Myesha Shareese McGriff came into this world on January 23, 1994 and left us on May 7, 2024.
She is survived by her mother, Kristen and stepfather JR Hall; her brothers, Keeylynn and Lester; nephew Luka; grandparents Memaw and Pap Wilson; Aunt Lila; many other aunts, uncles and cousins Tyler, Aubrey (Tony), and Jaydin. She also leaves behind her 2 dogs Juno and Cypress. She is preceded in death by her father Lester McGriff, Jr. and grandparents Lester McGriff Sr. and Joyce Miles.
Myesha was smart, funny, stubborn and a beautiful soul. She lived with an autoimmune disease that took her life while waiting for a transplant. She graduated from California University of Pennsylvania with a BS in Psychology. She worked in home care and most recently at Forbes Regional Hospital in Behavioral Health.
Myesha has a remarkable mind, never forgetting anything. She was funny enough to do stand up comedy. She also had a private, brooding side. She struggled with PSC and Crohns since she was 12. She loved her family. She never really knew how strong she was and how her family respected and looked up to her.
She enjoyed sports, playing midget football at Cal and basketball throughout Jr. high and high school.
Her family can only hope she knows how loved she was and how much she will be missed. She wanted to do so many things and she did do many things, just not all.
Family and friends are welcome for a memorial visitation on Saturday, May 11, 2024 from 4 pm - 6 pm at the Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home, 301 Curry Hollow Road, Pittsburgh, 15236. A memorial service will immediately follow visitation at 6 pm in the funeral home's chapel.
