Our thoughts and prayers are with the family at this time.
To know her was to love her - our dear Michelle
Whether you just met her or knew her quite well
I recall meeting her, her smile and her curls
Right away I knew she was the sweetest girl
She was very beautiful inside and out
She would be the first in line to help you out
Working with her, we all knew we were so blessed
Having her friendship was even better yet
She made you feel special, feel seen and feel heard
She was the real deal, you could count on her word
Seeing her as a daughter and a mother
She loved with all her heart, you'd want no other
She fought her cancer with a champion's strength
To keep on living, she went to any length
It was not to be, our sweet angel on this earth
She was needed above, we know her great worth
To have had her love is a wonderful gift
We'll remember her laugh when we need a lift
We're so lucky to have had her in our lives
We'll forever honor her memory and life
Our deepest sympathies to you and your family. The Burkholders
Our Deepest Sympathy
We miss and love you Aunt Michelle
Michelle was such an amazing mom! And one of my very best friends! I love her like a sister and am so blessed to have her in my life! She made everyone’s world brighter and a better place to be! Her love, compassion and strength is unlike anyone I have ever met! Spending time with her anywhere was always fun but her love of Deep Creek where we shared so many amazing times with our families will always stand out! July 4th was always her favorite, it will be different, but I know she will be shining bright above the fireworks! Noah, Maya and Sienna you have so much of your mom in you! It is so great that she will continue to live through each of you! I love you all from the bottom of my heart!
We are so very sorry for your loss. You are all in our thoughts and prayers.
Sending healing prayers and comforting hugs.
I will forever remember Michelle as the beautifully frazzled momma, blond babies in tow, racing to the baseball field so she wouldn’t miss a moment of watching Noah play ball. How I miss those endless summer days when life was just a little simpler… when we were sweaty, sunburned, covered in a fine layer of baseball field dirt but didn’t really care. We were surrounded by friends and doting on our kids and allowing them to eat too much sugar and laughing and enjoying the sun our face and the breeze in our hair. And Michelle was in the middle of the chaos, likely on the ground, playing with her girls, saying something that was just FUNNY! I will always cherish those days and the kindness, fun, and humor Michelle left in her wake. Life was and is beautiful.
Our deepest sympathies to Scott, to Noah, Maya, and Sienna, to her family, and to her closest girlfriends.
