Michael Phillip Lukowski's Obituary
Michael Lukowski, a devoted family man and skilled auto body technician, passed away peacefully on June 17, 2023, in Pennsylvania. Born on December 13, 1952, in Pittsburgh, Michael was the son of the late Frank and Marie Lukowski.
Michael is survived by his loving sister, Charlotte (Anthony) Poploskie, and brother, Bruce (Lesa) Lukowski. He was predeceased by his sisters, Alberta Mechler and Gloria Lashuk. A proud uncle, he leaves behind his nieces, Jennifer Moninger and Jeannette Poploskie, as well as his cherished great-niece, Alex Smith.
Michael's love for the outdoors was evident in his passion for fishing, motorcycles and race cars. He spent countless hours enjoying the beauty of nature and the thrill of racing, often sharing these experiences with his family and friends. His enthusiasm for these hobbies was infectious, and he leaves behind a legacy of fond memories for those who knew him.
Michael's generosity extended beyond his immediate circle, as he was always willing to lend a hand to those in need. He was a selfless individual who put the needs of others before his own, and his kindness will be remembered by all who knew him.
As the famous quote by Maya Angelou goes, "People will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel." Michael's warm spirit and generosity will be remembered by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
Family and friends are welcome on Wednesday, June 28, 2023 from 2 to 4 & 7 to 9 pm at the Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home, Inc., 301 Curry Hollow Road, Pittsburgh.
A Blessing Service will be held on Thursday, June 29, 2023 at 12 pm at the funeral home.
