Michael J. McDonough, of Overbrook, formerly of Castle Shannon, after a long and courageous battle with cancer, went home to his final resting place on January 15, 2016.
Best friend and husband of 22 years to Agnes Ann (Bisbey); devoted father to his baby girl, Nicole K. (Bill) Randall; special Pappy to R. Rutger and Rozetta R. "Zetta," who put the sparkle in his eyes. He was so proud of them.
He was the only son of the late John A. and Sally Ann (Wolfram) McDonough. The "Baby Brother" to his sisters, Barbara (Elmer) Falcione of Pittsburgh, Patty (John) Coleman of Sunrise, FL, and Susan (Jerry) Bodling of Sunrise, FL. He also leaves behind to cherish his memory many nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles.
Mike worked for over 20 years with Giant Eagle in a Management position, and then with Western-Southern Financial Group for many years as a District Manager until his retirement.
The Family would like to give a special thanks to his doctor, Dr. Larisa Greenberg, who has taken care of him from the beginning, as well as all of the doctors and nurses who have been there for him throughout the years.
Family and friends will be received on Sunday, Jan. 17, from 1-4 PM at the JEFFERSON MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, INC., 301, Curry Hollow Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15236. A Funeral Service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Monday, Jan. 18, at 10 AM. Condolences may be left at www.jeffersonmemorial.biz
