Mercedes M."Arky" Nicholson, 91, of West Mifflin, peacefully embarked on her next adventure on September 04, 2022.
Arky was the beloved wife of the late Arthur E. Nicholson.
She is survived by her nieces and nephews, David (the late Sally) Ward, Robert "Bill" (Tammy) Ward, Debra (Stephen) Turcsanyi, Donna Price, Rusty Ward, Doug Douglass, John Ward, Tom (Susan) Price, Ellen (Rich) Pinker and many beloved grand nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by her parents John and Mary (Morris) Ward her husband, Arthur Nicholson, brothers, Robert "Bill" Ward, Ray Ward and Frank "Bud" Ward, sister, Edna Douglass and niece Ann Pinder.
Arky was a supervisor at the Nabisco Baking Company for many years, was a certified beautician, and also did catering with Kelson's Catering, but was most well know for her big laugh and her even bigger generous heart.

Friends and family will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 PM, Friday, September 9th at the Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home, 301 Curry Hollow Road, Pleasant Hills, where a funeral service will be held Saturday, September 10th, at 10 AM. Burial will follow at Jefferson Memorial Park in Pittsburgh, PA.
