I had the extreme pleasure of working with Maureen for many years. She was like a mother to me and often gave me sound advice and a shoulder to cry on. I have many great memories of this amazing lady. I will cherish each and every one of them. My thoughts and prayers are with her family in this difficult time as I have first hand witness to the love and devotion of this family especially mom and daughter. I worked with Maureen at Quest Diagnostics. She was a wonderful woman who made me laugh every day. I am grateful for those memories.
One of the greatest gifts in life was to have a friend like Maureen. In my heart she was family and the one person that would be there to make me smile even when life was tough. We had a bond that is almost impossible for me to describe. In fact no matter where life happened to lead us we stayed connected. My entire family loved her and considered her part of our family also. There is a plague she gave me that describes our friendship and this sums up how we were with each other and I will write it down to share. Don't walk in front of me I may not follow. Don't walk behind me I may not lead. Just walk beside me and be my friend. Yes it is a fact to know Maureen was to love her.
