This was a photo from one of our visits with Mary Margaret and Ruth Opferman. We had some special visits talking about our shared family history and learning about my Great Grandparents. RIP.
Mary Margaret was one of my Mom's first cousins. We got to know her from our genealogy research since she was one of Uncle Henny's daughters, descended from my Great Grandfather's first wife, Louisa Averbeck. I learned from Mary Margaret about my Grandmother Maria Heggen being a nanny for several years for Joseph Opferman before they married. RIP!
