Mary Ann O'Toole's Obituary
Mary Ann O'Toole, 80, of Elizabeth, PA, formerly of Plum, PA, passed away peacefully on August 11, 2024. Born on February 26, 1944, in Pittsburgh, PA, she was the daughter of the late Elizabeth Harrison.
Mary Ann was the cherished mother of Erin (John) Stokes and Patrick (Jen) O'Toole; the beloved grandmother of Kaylee, Connor, Caitlin Stokes and Molly O'Toole; sister to Linda Simmons, sister-in-law to Mary Ruth (Ed) Savikas, and brother-in-law Timothy (Linda) O'Toole, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and lifelong friends. Mary Ann was predeceased by her beloved husband, Patrick Martin O'Toole, whom she married on the 20th of May, 1967 and spent many wonderful years with.
A graduate of Nursing School, Mary Ann dedicated 40 years of compassionate care as an OB Registered Nurse at Southside Hospital and Forbes Hospital. Outside her professional life, Mary Ann found joy in her card club with girlfriends from high school. Being with family was her ultimate pleasure, particularly cherishing time spent with her grandchildren, whether it be watching them play sports or simply enjoying their company.
The legacy of Mary Ann's kind spirit, boundless love, and caring nature will live on through the many lives she touched. Her presence will be dearly missed, yet her memory will continue to inspire and comfort those she leaves behind.
Friends and family will be received on Wednesday, August 14, 2024 from 6-8pm and Thursday, August 15th, 2024 from 2-4pm and 7-9pm at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home, Inc., 301 Curry Hollow Road, Pleasant Hills, PA, 15236.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Thomas A' Becket Church at 139 Gill Hall Rd, Clairton, PA 15025 on Friday, August 16th, 2024 at 10am.
Burial will be handled by Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
