Mary Jane Keenan's Obituary
Mary Jane (Cleary) Keenan, 91, died peacefully at home on December 12, 2020. Jane was preceded in death by her loving husband John. Left to cherish her memory are children Mary Katherine, Michael, and John (Cathy) Keenan; 2 grandsons Matthew (Celeste), and Nicholas Keenan; and siblings, the late RoseMarie O'Brien, James (Carole) and David (Doris) Cleary, and Joan (Joseph) Catello. She leaves behind many adoring friends.
Jane enjoyed traveling the country with her favorite landing spot as Las Vegas. She loved puzzling, birdwatching, gardening, and refinishing furniture. A fixture at Penguin games with her daughter and many friends. Known for her quick wit and sense of humor she left a lasting impression on all. But her most favorite times were doing anything with her children. She was most certainly the rock of her entire family.
Private Services are entrusted to Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial, open to all, will be held at St. Paul of the Cross Parish, St. Winifred Church, 550 Sleepy Hollow Road, 15228, on Friday, December 18, 2020 at 10 am. Plans for a memorial service post Covid. Jane's family suggests any memorial tributes be made in her name to your local first responders.
