Age 101, passed away peacefully on August 10, 2018. Wife of the late William C. Haas, Jr.. Mother of John (Pat) Haas and Christine (Thomas) Kretchun. Grandmother of Jennifer (Scott) Haas, Christian (Liz) Haas, Julie (Christopher) Williams, Nathaniel Kretchun, and Alec (Lindsay) Kretchun; Step-Grandmother of Jamie and Stacey Ruth. Great-Grandmother of Rachel and Bridget Williams, Parker and Peyton Haas; Step Great-Grandmother of Jasmine Ruth. Sister of the late Rachel Dugan and the late George and John Oliver; Sister In-Law of the late Margaret and the late Mary Oliver; as well as many loving nieces and nephews; Colleen and Jack Graham, Richard Dugan and Susie Barbour, Kevin and Debbie Dugan, Cecelia and Dennis Zezutek, Marianne and Ron Kisak, Patty and Tom Mayer.
She was a member of Lebanon Presbyterian Church, Christian Servitors Class, Red Hat Society, and taught crafts at Lawson Nursing Home for 18 years.
Family and friends are welcomed on Monday, August 13th from 4 to 8 pm and Tuesday from 10 am to 12 pm at the Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home, Inc., 301 Curry Hollow Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15236. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Tuesday at 12:30 pm at Lebanon Presbyterian Church, 2800 Old Elizabeth Road, West Mifflin, PA, 15122. Internment will follow at Lebanon Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Mary's honor to the Pittsburgh Chapter of the Alzheimer's Association at alz.org or 1323 Forbes Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15219.
