Marsha D. Werkmeister's Obituary
Marsha D. Werkmeister, age 91, of Bethel Park, passed away on December 3, 2025. She was a loving, kind hearted woman who dedicated her life to her family and her art.
A graduate of Brentwood High School, Marsha previously worked at Admiral Homes but dedicated much of her life to raising her children. She married Donald Werkmeister on July 3, 1954, and together they built a loving home in Baldwin filled with creativity and support. She cherished babysitting her grandchildren, being a Nana to Lauren Gregg, and shared many wonderful moments with those around her. She lived for her family and was a kind, loving woman in every way.
Marsha was known for her passions in sewing, crocheting, painting, and writing poetry, activities that allowed her to express her boundless creativity. In her later years, she found joy in coloring, latch hooking, and crafting, often sharing her beautiful creations with friends and family.
Marsha was known as a true sweetheart by everyone who met her. Her nurturing spirit and kindness touched countless lives. Though her warmth, love, and devotion will be deeply missed, her legacy will live on in all those she cared for.
Marsha is survived by her children Karen (Tim) Murray, Donna (Bob) Falce, and Wayne (Kim) Werkmeister; daughter-in-law Marlene Werkmeister; grandchildren Jacob Werkmeister, Valene (Dustin) Vanorsdale, Justin (Lisa) Murray, Zachary (Iratxe) Murray, Jessica (Dillon) Murray, Mara Falce, Michael (Lisandra) Falce, Alex Werkmeister, Sarah Werkmeister; great-grandchildren Naomi, Jaynaliz, Naileh, and Alina.
She is preceded in death by her husband Donald Werkmeister, son Steven Werkmeister, parents James and Florris Harris, and her brothers James and Don Harris.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 7, 2025 from 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm at the Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home, 301 Curry Hollow Road, Pittsburgh, 15236. A funeral service will take place on Monday, December 8 at 10:00 am in the funeral home's chapel.
