Marlene (Schmitt) King's Obituary
Marlene (Schmitt) King, 86, of Bethel Park formerly of South Park, passed away suddenly on August 24, 2020.
She was the beloved wife of the late Thomas W. King.
Cherished mother of Thomas H. (Cheryl) King and Cindy (Thomas) Cingel; loving grandmother of Brian King, Matthew (Rachel) King and Jarrod Cingel. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Marlene was the daughter of the late Howard and Lucinda Schmitt.
Marlene's greatest enjoyment was spending time with her grandchildren, being a good friend to many, and going to listen to country music. She will be greatly missed by her family and all who knew her.
Visitation will be Saturday, August 29, 2020 from noon until the time of the funeral service at 2:00 PM at the Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home, 301 Curry Hollow Road, Pleasant Hills. Interment will be in Jefferson Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Marlene's name may be made to the Greater Pittsburgh Food Bank, 1 N. Linden Street, Duquesne, PA 15110 or the Arthritis Foundation, 790 Holiday Drive, Pittsburgh, PA 15220 .
