Mark Paul Fallert's Obituary
Mark P. Fallert, a beloved father, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully in his hometown of Pittsburgh, PA on November 17, 2023. Born on July 19, 1953, to parents Harry and Jenny Fallert, Mark was a lifelong resident of Pittsburgh, where he was known for his humor, love for his family, and his passion for life.
Mark was a proud alumnus of Duquesne University where he earned his Law degree. He had a love for sports, particularly basketball and football. His passion for sports extended beyond his own participation, as he found great joy in coaching his children in basketball. Mark was a man of many talents, one of which was his knack for building things. His woodworking skills ranged from creating useful household items to crafting whimsical pieces that brought smiles to the faces of those who received them.
Mark was a man who loved the outdoors, often spending his free time playing with his dogs or enjoying the beauty of nature. He was also a lover of food, with Italian cuisine being his favorite. His love for food was more than just about the taste, it was a way for him to express his love and care for others. Food was his love language, and he used it to bring people together, creating memories that will be cherished by his loved ones.
Family was the cornerstone of Mark's life and the love for his family was evident in everything he did. He is survived by his children, Elizabeth (David) Paterson and Jenna Fallert, his siblings Donna (Joseph) Bucci and Michael (Becky) Fallert, and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his second wife, Terri Fallert, his parents, Harry and Jenny Fallert, and his son, Corey Fallert.
Mark was known for his sense of humor. He had a knack for making people laugh, whether it was through his witty remarks or his infectious laughter. He was also known for his love of classic rock, often heard singing along to his favorite tunes in the car. Mark was a man who loved life and lived it to the fullest. He was funny, loving, and handy, and he will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Mark P. Fallert was a man who left a lasting impact on everyone he met. His love for life, his family, and his passion for his interests will continue to live on in the hearts of those who loved him. His memory will be cherished, and his legacy will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to know him.
Friends and family will be received on Friday, November 24th from 2-4pm and 6-8pm at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home, Inc., 301 Curry Hollow Road, Pleasant Hills, PA, 15236.
