Age 91, of South Park, formerly of Belgium, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, March 31, 2026. Beloved wife of 63 years to the late Leon B. Matthys; loving mother of Gigi (Dennis) Stacer and Michael (Hongling) Matthys; devoted grandmother of Michelle P. (Chris) Martin; cherished great grandmother of Breanna and Jason Martin. Mariette enjoyed cooking, spending time in the garden but most of all she loved spending time with family. Services will be private and entrusted to Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home, Inc.
