Marie M. Lucarelli's Obituary
Marie M. Lucarelli, 97, of Pittsburgh, PA, passed away surrounded by her loving family on April 20, 2026. Born November 27, 1928, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late Philip and Philamena (Yates) Friday.
As a devoted homemaker, Marie dedicated her life to nurturing her family. She was a proud mother to her sons, steadfastly involved in their lives. She loved sharing stories of her travels and experiences.
Marie was a devout Catholic, and her faith was a guiding light in her life, inspiring those around her to seek joy and connection. It was this strength that carried her through some of the most challenging moments in her life.
Marie is survived by two loving sons, Paul Augustin and Gary Augustin; step-children, Ann, Lisa, Tina, and Jim; grandchildren, Lisa Rothhaar; special nieces, Ruth Pollice and Beverly Rampano; and the Lilly family, whom all held a special place in Marie's heart.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by Paul C. Augustin, with whom she shared many loving years of marriage prior to his passing; second husband, Virgil Lucarelli; and three sons, Thomas Augustin, David Augustin, and William Augustin.
Family and Friends will gather to celebrate Marie's life during a visitation on Monday, April 27, 2026, from 6:00-800pm, and Tuesday, April 28, 2026, from 1:00-3:00pm at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home, 301 Curry Hollow Rd, Pittsburgh PA, 15236. A Blessing Service will take place following visitation on Tuesday, April 28, 2026, at 3:00pm in the Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home chapel.
Inurnment will be held on Friday, May 1st, 2026 at 12:30pm at National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, 1158 Morgan Rd, Bridgeville, PA 15017.
