Marie C. Fix, 94, formerly of Brookline, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Wednesday, August 13, 2025. She was the wife of the late firefighter Richard A. Fix Jr.
Loving mother of Kathleen (James) Belgard, Deborah (late David) LoPresti and Richard A. Fix III; grandmother of Sarah Mills (Brian Hosterman) and Jeffrey Mills (Jessica Mace), Jesse (Britney) Belgard, Richard A. Fix IV, the late Melanie Lopresti and Crysta Richter; and great-grandmother of Raylee Mills, Paisley Mace, Emily Richter, Grace Richter and Richard A. Fix V: sister of Paulette (Pro) (Timothy) Zalewski and niece Linda Baker. She is predeceased by her parents Paul and Carmela Pro siblings Jean (Pro) (Tony) Obdeinski and Paul Pro Jr.
Marie "the Bambino" was a precious woman whose life was woven with love, devotion, and fierce commitment to her family.
Visitation will be held from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday August 18th, 2025, at the JEFFERSON MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME INC., 301 Curry Hollow Road, Pleasant Hills, where a blessing service will be held Tuesday August 19th, 2025, in the funeral home chapel at 10:00 am.
