Maria Cristina "Cris" Dimidjian's Obituary
Maria Cristina "Cris" Dimidjian, 62, of Pleasant Hills, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully on March 12, 2026.
Born on September 10, 1963, in Buenos Aires, Argentina, she was the beloved daughter of Arturo and Julia Dimidjian. As a young child, she immigrated to the United States with her family, where they later became proud citizens of the United States.
Maria Cristina, known to family and friends as Cris, was a graduate of Thomas Jefferson High School. She attended Lock Haven University and later graduated from Robert Morris University. Cris spent many years working for FedEx in New Jersey before retiring. During her career she was respected for her dedication, reliability, and strong work ethic, and she formed many lasting friendships.
In recent years, Cris returned to Pleasant Hills where she devoted herself to caring for her mother. She enjoyed cooking, traveling, and spending time with her beloved cat. Cris will be remembered for her quiet strength, kindness, and the love and loyalty she showed to her family and friends.
She is survived by her loving mother, Julia Dimidjian; her brothers, Gustavo Dimidjian (Lorena), Carlos Dimidjian (Lisa), and Rick Dimidjian (Kelli); and her cherished nieces and nephews. She also shared a close and lifelong friendship with Venus Jennings of Denville, New Jersey.
Cris was preceded in death by her father, Arturo Dimidjian.
In accordance with her wishes, there will be no funeral or formal services.
Cris will be deeply missed by her family and all who knew and loved her.
