Peggy Sanders' Obituary
Margaret "Peggy" (Kroll) Sanders, age 64, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully in her home in Finleyville, PA on March 9, 2025. Born to the late Regis and Anna Mae Kroll on July 18, 1960, and raised in Baldwin, PA.
Peggy was a proud US Navy veteran, who served her country with honor from 1979 to 1983. She was a graduate of St. Elizabeth High School, class of '78, and throughout her life, she was an example of dedication and service both in her career and personal life.
Her innate creativity shone through her love of crocheting and crafts. Peggy also cherished the simple pleasures of life, including taking long walks and most importantly, taking care of her family. Family was the cornerstone of Peggy's life. She found joy in the simple times spent with her loved ones, creating memories that would be cherished forever.
Peggy leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished moments. She is survived by her devoted husband of 30 years, Tom Sanders; her loving children, Kristian Sherman, Samantha Sanders, and Michelle Sanders; her adored grandchildren, Alexa Sherman and Brayden Sherman; and her caring siblings, Mary "Babe" Druzick, Ruth Ann Brown, Theresa (Roy) Faust, Chuck (the late Ruthie) Kroll, Dave (Mary Jean) Kroll, and Virginia "Ginny" (Steve) Curran. She was preceded in death by her parents Regis and Anna Mae Kroll and her brother Robert (the late Emily) Kroll Sr.
Peggy's warm smile and nurturing presence will be deeply missed, but her spirit will continue to inspire those who knew and loved her.
Friends and family will be received from 2-4pm and 6-8pm on Thursday, March 13, 2025 at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home, Inc., 301 Curry Hollow Road, Pleasant Hills, PA, 15236.
A Funeral Service will be held at 10am on Friday, March 14, 2025 in the Funeral Home Chapel.
Burial will be handled by Jefferson Memorial Park.
