Margaret T. Orosz's Obituary
Margaret T. Orosz, age 92, passed away on November 21, 2020.
Margaret was born on March 14, 1928 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
Margaret is survived by her children, Darlene (Jack) Schaming and Gary (Lynn) Orosz ; grandchildren, Christopher (April) Schaming, Jennifer (Brian) Gribble, Samantha (Michael) Slate and Michael (Lauren) Orosz; great-grandchildren, Celeste (Jake) Kelp, Brady Schaming and Lincoln Slate; as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Michael Orosz; parents, John and Elizabeth (Husar) Hevery; siblings, George Haver, John Haver, Mike Haver, Anna Havery, Annie Parrish, Dorothy Petrich, Phyllis Leahey and Irene Barna.
Margaret lived in West Mifflin for most of her married life. She lived at St. Therese Court apartments in Munhall for several years and spent her final years at Canterbury Place in Lawrenceville.
She was a dedicated mother, mother- in-law, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend.
She enjoyed cooking and baking, especially during the holidays. Margaret crocheted for hours on end and loved sharing the crafts she made.
She worked at Grant Elementary school in the kitchen for many years where she made and served lunch to the students. She loved 'gallivanting' to shop and find bargains.
