Margaret C. (Nieder) Pittas' Obituary
Margaret C. (Nieder) Pittas, age 85, formerly of Carrick, passed away on Friday, January 8th, 2021.
Margie is survived by her beloved daughter, Ann-Margaret Mino; three grandsons, Josh, Ryan and Jesse Mino; granddaughter, Danielle Pittas; sister, Beverly Eisengart; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George Pittas; sons, George Pittas, Jr. and Danny Pittas; parents, Albert Nieder and Margaret Nieder-Giancola; as well as her sister, Lois Recker.
Margie was a waitress for many years at Lotus Garden and subsequently Ung’s Tea Garden and Lychee Garden. Her love of shoes then prompted her to be employed in the shoe department of Value City and Burlington. She also proudly graduated from interior design school later in life. Margie was a very good cook, who enjoyed drawing, planting flowers and walking her dog. Most of all, Margie’s grandchildren, who lovingly referred to her as Me-Me, were the utmost joy of her life!
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 15th from 3 PM to 7 PM at the JEFFERSON MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, INC., 301 Curry Hollow Rd., Pleasant Hills, 15236. A Blessing Service will be held privately. Condolences may be shared at www.jeffersonmemorial.biz.
