Margaret G. Doyle's Obituary
Margaret (Peggy) Fahnestock Doyle, age 91,of Providence Point passed away on Sunday, October 26, 2025. Preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Doyle in 2000 after 32 years of marriage.
Also preceded in death by her parents Peg and Elmer Fahnestock, her brother, Bob (Gloria) and sister Winifred. Also survived by nieces nad nephews all of whom live out of town.
Peggy received her bachelor's degree in education at Duquesne University, and her master's degree in Counseling at California University. She taught for the Catholic Diocese of Pittsburgh and for the Pittsburgh Public Schools. She even spent three years in Puerto Rico teaching in Colegio San Antonio.
Before moving to Providence Point, Peggy belonged to St. Elizabeth Church in Pleasant Hills. She was a Eucharistic Minister and a church money counter for a number of years.
A private interment will take place at Jefferson Memorial Park. A memorial Mass will be celebrated in the chapel of Providence Point at a future date.
Funeral arrangements will be handled by Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home.
