Margaret J. Dickey's Obituary
Margaret J. Dickey, 101, formerly of Kingston, died January 30, 2021, in Pittsburgh, PA of natural causes. Born in Kingston, she was the daughter of the late Lula and Daniel Moser and was married to Nicholas Dickey for 55 years until his death in 2005. She was the graduate of Kingston High School. Mrs. Dickey was a member of the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Kingston. Preceding her in death were her brothers George and Raymond Moser; sisters, Thelma Fletcher, Florence Parker, Ellen Tubman and Dorothy Baker.
Surviving are her daughters Carole Dickey and her husband, Frederic Serino of Pittsburgh; Nancy Koval and her husband, Joseph of Allentown; grandsons Frank Daniel Serino (and his partner Robby Syruws) and Nicholas Serino (and his fiancée, Samantha Kosko); granddaughters Juliann Masenheimer (and her husband, Matthew); Kate Koval (and her partner Cliff Minnig); as well as two great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Dickey lived a long and active life until COVID-19 forced her into isolation and quarantine at her senior living facility. She never had the virus, but her passing was, nevertheless, a result of the pandemic.
Funeral Services via Zoom are private and been entrusted to the care of Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home, Inc., 301 Curry Hollow Road, Pleasant Hills.
