Marcine J Dickey's Obituary
Marcine J. Dickey passed away peacefully on December 10, 2022, just six days shy of her 91st birthday. She was born in Alliance OH, grew up in Clairton PA, and lived most of her life in Monroeville. She was married for 64 years to Allen Earl Dickey until his passing in 2015.
In addition to her parents and her husband, she was predeceased by her siblings, Betty Rolapp and David Cross, and by her sister-in-law, Betty Jean Allen.
Marcine is survived by daughter, Karin (John C.) Almasi, son Allen T. (Josie) Dickey, grandchildren: John S. (Misty) Almasi, James (Zoe) Almasi, Thomas (Anna) Dickey, Rebecca Dickey, and Daniel (Kelsey) Dickey, 12 great grandchildren, 2 great greats, 4 nieces and nephews, and dear friends Joe and Jan Gatial.
Marcine will be missed and long remembered for her feisty and independent spirit. She was an amazing cook and baker and was hostess to countless family dinners and celebrations. Rest in peace, Mom. We know you're "moving fast" in Heaven.
Visitation will be Wednesday, December 14, 2022 from 10 am to noon at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home Inc, 301 Curry Hollow Rd, Pittsburgh (Pleasant Hills), PA 15236. Marcine's service will immediately follow visitation at noon in the Chapel at the funeral home. Pastor Ted Chapman will officiate.
