Lynn Marie Broman's Obituary
Lynn M. Broman, age 59, of Canonsburg, PA, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 30, 2026. Born on May 3, 1966, in Pittsburgh, PA, Lynn was the daughter of Francine Carlson and the late Glenn Broman.
She was preceded in death by her father, Glenn Broman; maternal grandparents, Frank and Virginia Carlson; paternal grandparents, Elmer and Catherine Broman; and uncle, Wayne Broman. She is survived by her mother, Francine Carlson; brother, Paul Broman; step-father, Thomas Radus; step-mother, Claudia Broman; aunts, Elaine Scott of Elyria, OH, and Marsha Gutierrez (Tony) of Jamestown, RI; uncle, Kerwin Broman (Jane) of Decatur, IN; cousins; and long-time friend, Rev. Debra Thompson.
Lynn excelled in academics and was a graduate of Thomas Jefferson High School and the University of Pittsburgh. Immediately after graduating from Pitt, Lynn's extensive experience and career in human resources began as a Compensation Analyst for Integra Financial Corporation and culminated in her most recent position as a Human Resources Director for Management Analysis Technologies, Inc. She was an accomplished musician on flute and piano. She was a steadfast, life-long Lutheran, sang in church choirs, was active in Synod and church committees and activities, and a member of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in McMurray. Lynn enjoyed her two cats, socializing with her many devoted friends, vacationing at the Outer Banks, and decorating her balcony with flowers each spring.
Lynn's family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to the staff of professionals on 5 Main at Shadyside Hospital, especially the nurses who often requested Lynn to be on their schedules so they could help and see her every day. You all treated her with compassion, dignity, respect, and love.
Go in peace, good and faithful servant. You have served your Lord well.
