Carol Zeman's Obituary
Louise Carol Zeman, age 83, of Baldwin Boro, passed away surrounded by her loving family on March 27, 2026.
Born on January 17, 1943 in Bridgeville, Pennsylvania, Carol was the daughter of the late John and Mary Martincic.
Carol spent her career as a manager in various capacities. From Erie Insurance, to managing the Open Pantry, to managing the office Centimark, she took pride in her work.
She was an active member of Nativity Church and valued the sense of community it gave her. In her spare time, she loved bowling with her ladies group, sitting down with a good book and baking her famous homemade bread and nutroll.
Above all, Carol loved her family. Being "Nonni" to her grandchildren meant everything to her. She shared with them her love, her kindness, and always provided a listening ear when needed.
Carol is survived by her husband of 62 years, Gerald Zeman; her children, Lori (Jeff) Conklin, Gerald Zeman and Greg (Jennie) Zeman; grandchildren, Jeffrey (Sophia) Conklin, Johnathan (Emily) Conklin, Sara (Michael) Kriley, Samantha Conklin, Lauren Conklin, Brianna Conklin, Joshua Conklin, Claire Zeman, Jerry Zeman, Tyler Zeman, Katie Zeman, Zachary Zeman, and Aaron Zeman; her sister, Rita Novak.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Robert Martincic; as well as her brother-in-law, John Novak.
Family and friends will be received on Monday, April 6th from 2-4 & 6-8 P.M. at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home, 301 Curry Hollow Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15236.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, April 7th at 10 A.M. at Our Lady of Hope Parish, Nativity Church Worship Site, 5811 Curry Rd, Pittsburgh, PA 15236.
