Lois A. Scholz's Obituary
Lois A. (Welsbacher) Scholz, age 93, of Canonsburg (formerly of Mt. Oliver / Allentown area), passed away with her loving daughter by her side on Wednesday, January 13, 2021.
Lois is survived by her loving children; Denise (Rick Smith) Scholz-Smith, Doreen (John) Perry, and Alan (Becky) Scholz. Cherished Gram of Megan (Tony) D' Angelo, Leigh Ann (Jason Lenox) Shimonovich, Daniel Scholz, John Perry, Justin Perry, Alan Scholz, Alex Scholz, Steve Shimonovich, III and three great-granddaughters; Leah D'Angelo, Katelyn D'Angelo, and Ellie Lenox. Sister of Celine Welsbacher. Lois is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family and dear friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Milton M. Scholz; her children, Milton "Buddy" Scholz and Sandy Shimonovich; her brother, Thomas Welsbacher; and her parents, George and Mary Welsbacher.
Lois loved playing cards, reading, puzzles, and watching her favorite TV shows. Most of all, Lois loved being with her family and friends and will be dearly missed by all.
In compliance with CDC guidelines, only 25 people will be permitted in the visitation room at a time please be prepared to wait outdoors, facial coverings are a must and physical distancing is encouraged.
Family and friends are welcomed on Sunday, January 17, 2021 from 2 to 4 pm & 6 to 8 pm at the JEFFERSON MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, INC., 301 Curry Hollow Rd., Pleasant Hills, 15236. A Blessing Service will be held on Monday, January 18, 2021 at 12 pm in the Funeral Home's Chapel. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating in honor of Lois to a pet shelter of your choice.
